Married At First Sight star suffers major heart attack as they're rushed to hospital

Married At First Sight Australia star Tony Mojanovski, 53, has been hospitalised after a heart attack scare. He was rushed to Wollongong Hospital in New South Wales on Thursday when he experienced chest pains. Having wed Morena Farina on the reality series, Tony had an operation and confessed his lifestyle habits played a role in his deteriorating health. He revealed that he'd felt unwell for a time but now is recovering from what he termed a "pretty scary" ordeal.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Tony disclosed his prior chest discomfort, stating: "Luckily I went straight to the doctors. During the week I wasn't feeling well. It has been happening for a long time." He added: "I was just feeling not right, like something was on my chest every now and then, giving me heartburn and stuff like that.", reports Wales Online.

Furthermore, Tony is worried about hereditary health issues, considering his mother sadly died from an aneurysm. He also came clean about the possible factors leading to his hospital stay, confessing: "I was smoking, the cigarettes, the stress, being on the boat, partying - just too many things. It caught up with me, mate. I just need some time without the partying."

Tony's recovery in the hospital was cheered on by a visit from fellow MAFS cast member, Ryan Donnelly, who shared a heartwarming video of them hugging it out as Tony got better.

Sadly, his on-screen marriage to Morena was far less supportive.

Anticipation buzzed as they tied the knot on the show due to their apparent instant spark.

But it was short-lived; merely two weeks in, Tony shocked Morena by admitting his preference for a younger partner to start a family.

The couples bond crumbled beyond repair after that, leading to their swift exit from the show. Morena didn't mince words, penning "Good riddance, on her exit card. Speaking after their split, Tony told 9Entertainment: " on her exit card.

Post-split, Tony reflected in an interview with 9Entertainment: "I wanted to at least feel the experience, to learn off her, learn from the experts, get some information about where we're going wrong in life.

"But it got to a stage where I just couldn't be around her and I was ducking and weaving and I was going to see my dog."
