Matthew Wright loses it with LBC Radio caller as he fumes 'go outside'

During his LBC Radio show, presenter Matthew Wright was left appalled by the suggestion that the “deep state” is controlling the wars.

The presenter received a call from Danny, who claimed: “There’s a war on his hands that Donald Trump and Putin are trying to stop.”

However, the 57-year-old was taken aback and responded: “Hang on, hang on, Danny whoa whoa, Putin started these wars. How can the guy who started it stop it?”

The caller explained: “No, so we all know that when these wars start, there’s one person who controls both sides. I don’t know why we’re acting like we don’t know this.”

Matthew interjected: “I don’t know that, Danny, I don’t know that. That sounds like the thinking of someone who reads too many conspiracy theories online to me.”

As Danny continued: “Throughout the whole of history,” the presenter interrupted: “Oh right ok! I’m being educated then, Danny. So all wars are run by one person?”

“Course they are,” the caller claimed, adding: “It's a profit, it’s a money-making scheme, we all know this, the whole world knows this,” to which Matthew questioned: “Who’s the one person then, who’s the one person running all these wars?”

“We don’t know this,” but Matthew wasn’t having it and blasted: “So you know there’s only one of them but you don’t know who it is?”

Danny responded: “It’s the deep state, the people that are in charge behind closed doors.”

Ending the conversation, the journalist stated: “Mate, you are reading too many conspiracy theories.

“Put your computer or your phone down, draw some breath, go outside, see the world around you. Wake up.”

This comes after Matthew’s LBC co-star Nick Ferrari also lost it with a caller during his weekday radio show and labelled them “spineless”.

The tense exchange was sparked during a heated debate about the UK’s stance towards Russia after the caller named Brian suggested: “We should be talking peace with the Russians because the Russians are producing 10 times more weaponry than all of us combined.”

During their row, Nick hit back: "Well, what are you saying then? You are showing no backbone. You are without any backbone whatsoever."
