Moment GB News host walks out of studio over migrant perks: 'I'm off!'

Michelle Dewberry raged, "I'm off! Goodbye," as she reacted to the astonishing list of perks asylum seekers are reportedly given. The GB News anchor read out the list live on air and said a wide range of perks, including housing, meals, discounts, health, education, transport, and leisure. She expressed her reaction: "I don't know about you, ladies and gentlemen, but this is unbelievable. It goes on! Discounts on theatre shows. Legal aid. Free bus travel. I've got to say, this is a better life I've got! I'm off. I'm getting on a small boat - goodbye!" As she said this, she got up from her chair and pretended to walk away from the panel in a brutal walk-out.
The list was reported by the Daily Mail, which argued that "our Government spends £2.8billion a year on supporting asylum seekers and refugees in the UK." They then totaled how some of the money is spent in a long list.
Many GB News fans have reacted to the moment, with one person saying, "Free cooking lessons? WTF." Another commented, similarly: "This is what we built for us. Now we are denied it, and it's given away to people who built nothing."
A third also chimed in: "It's a b***dy disgrace... people in this country are struggling to pay their bills... and going to food banks... and they are giving away everything free... absolute joke."
On YouTube, one person left a comment praising Michelle and said: "Michelle is a star. Genuinely one of the best presenters out there." Another typed: "Absolutely brilliant Michelle you are a top lady."
Free football tickets, university courses, driving lessons, and legal aid are some of the perks claimed to be available to asylum seekers in the United Kingdom.
Other reported allowances included in the list show access to free food banks, free cooking lessons, bus travel from some councils, discounted Spanish or French lessons, leisure trips, and discounts on theatre shows.
