The Chase celebrity Darragh Ennis has come up with one of his hardest quizzes yet. The expert quizzer is best recognised for his position as The Menace on the ITV programme, where his mission involves stopping participants from claiming big prize funds by responding to questions faster than they can. But during his free time, Darragh frequently presents the public with his own quizzes via his social media platforms.

These mind-bending puzzles typically consist of five questions, and whilst some focus on particular topics such as Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings, others cover broader general knowledge. A recent quiz created by The Menace centred on "real names", and he insisted that most individuals wouldn't manage to achieve a flawless score, reports the Mirror.

Darragh began by outlining how the quiz would operate.

He would provide the actual name of a celebrity who employs a stage name, and your task is to determine what name they're "better known by".

He remarked: "I bet you can't get all five."

  1. Which actor, who was born in 1951, had the real name Michael Douglas?
  2. Which Welsh singer, also born in 1951, was originally named Gaynor Sullivan?
  3. Which rapper's real name is Calvin Broadus Jr?
  4. Which American President was born Leslie Lynch King Jr?
  5. Which American singer's real name is Elizabeth Woolridge Grant?

Take some time to examine the questions and consider your responses before you scroll down to discover how many you answered correctly.

There's no time restriction on this one, so take as long as you require. Once you believe you've cracked all the questions, compare your answers with the correct ones below!

  1. Michael Keaton
  2. Bonnie Tyler
  3. Snoop Dogg
  4. Gerald Ford
  5. Lana Del Rey

The video sparked a variety of reactions from commenters. Some found the quiz a breeze, while many admitted they "couldn't answer any correctly" due to its difficulty.

One individual confessed: "I didn't know the answer to any of those!" Another chimed in: "Blimey, I am hopeless at this. I only had a guess on the second one, and even that was wrong. I thought Shirley Bassey."

Among the few who managed to get four answers right, the question about the US President proved most challenging. Several confessed they were clueless about who Gerald Ford was, let alone his birth name.
