Polish foreign minister says Putin 'laughs' at Trump's peace efforts

Radek Sikorski said he hopes Trump "backs his words with action."
Polish Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski had strong words for President Donald Trump during a news conference on Russia's drone incursion, telling reporters Russian President Vladimir Putin "laughs" at Trump's peace efforts.
"Putin laughs at President Trump's peace efforts," Sikorski said on Wednesday. "Since Alaska, he has only intensified the war. I hope that [Trump] backs his words with action."
Last week, Trump pledged to help Poland protect itself during a bilateral meeting with Polish President Karol Nawrocki at the White House.
"We're with Poland all the way and we will help Poland protect itself," Trump said at the time.
Trump is expected to speak with Polish President Karol Nawrocki on Wednesday, a White House official told ABC News. The official added that Trump and the White House are "tracking the reports out of Poland."
