It’s a massive weekend on the club GAA scene, with county finals and heavyweight clashes lighting up pitches across all the country.

From Dunloy’s fairytale football run in Antrim to Ratoath and Summerhill renewing their rivalry in Meath, and three hurling deciders, there’s no shortage of drama on offer.

Here’s your guide to the 10 county finals taking place this weekend.

Football Finals (Antrim) Cuchullains Dun Lóghaidh v Erin’s Own Cargin

Senior Football Final – Sunday, Oct 12, Corrigan Park 1:30

Where to watch: TG4

Cargin are chasing a fourth straight title after edging their semi on penalties. Dunloy, appearing in their first football final in nearly 90 years, are looking to crown a stunning dual-code year with history at Corrigan Park.

(Cavan) Gowna v Kingscourt Stars

Senior Football Final – Sunday, Oct 12, Kingspan Breffni, 16:00

It’s a repeat of 2023, when Gowna crushed Kingscourt to retain the title. Kingscourt have regrouped and scraped through a tight semi, but Gowna remain firm favourites to extend their dominance.

(Clare) Éire Óg Ennis v St Joseph’s Doora-Barefield

(Longford) Colmcille v Killoe Young Emmets

Senior Football Final – Sunday, Oct 12, Pearse Park, 16:15

Killoe and Colmcille meet in the final for the first time. Killoe are 2023 champions, Colmcille are 2022 winners, it’s a heavyweight clash with nothing between them.

(Meath) Ratoath v Summerhill

Senior Football Final – Sunday, Oct 12, Páirc Tailteann, 14:00

Where to Watch: Clubber

Ratoath and Summerhill know each other inside out, this is their fourth final in seven years. Summerhill won a thriller in 2023; Ratoath are out to reclaim the Keegan Cup under Paul Galvin.

(Sligo) Coolera/Strandhill v Shamrock Gaels

Coolera/Strandhill are hunting a three-in-a-row, but it's Shamrock Gaels first return to the decider after 31 years. It’s champions vs dreamers in one of the county’s most anticipated finals in decades.

Hurling Finals (Wicklow) Bray Emmets v Carnew Emmets

Senior Hurling Final – Sunday, Oct 12, Echelon Park Aughrim, 15:00

Where to Watch: Wicklow GAA TV

Bray Emmets are chasing another chapter in their modern dynasty, while Carnew are desperate to end over a decade without a title. Expect a packed Aughrim for this rivalry clash.

(Kildare) Maynooth v Naas

Senior Hurling Final – Sunday, Oct 12, Cedral St Conleth’s Park, 15:30

Where to Watch: Clubber

Naas chase a seventh straight title that would draw them level with Ardclough on 13. Maynooth, managed by Meath’s Johnny Greville, were well beaten in last year’s decider and are without David Qualter, while Naas also have injury worries. Jack Sheridan hit 2-11 in their semi-final win over Coill Dubh.

RTÉ’s GAA coverage this weekend includes a trip to the home of the All-Ireland champions, with live coverage of the Tipperary Hurling Semi-Final between Loughmore-Castleiney and Holycross/Ballycahill on Saturday GAA Live (RTÉ2 & RTÉ Player, 4.00pm, throw-in 4.10pm).
