Athletic Grounds to host All-Ireland U20FC final

The BOX-IT Athletic Grounds has been confirmed as the venue for the upcoming All-Ireland U20FC final.
The decider between holders Tyrone and Louth will take place at Armagh GAA HQ next Wednesday, May 28 at 7.30pm and will be live on TG4. Tyrone are seeking their third title in four seasons, while Louth are appearing in their first-ever All-Ireland U20FC final.
The final was due to be played this week, but was pushed back due to players sitting exams, while Louth’s semi-final against Mayo only took place last Friday. Tyrone’s Eoin McElholm and Louth goalkeeper Tiernan Markey are also involved with their county senior squads who play Donegal and Monaghan respectively this weekend.
The Louth v Monaghan All-Ireland SFC clash has been fixed for the redeveloped Cedral St Conleth’s Park in Newbridge after the Wee County’s request to play what is a designated ‘home’ game for them in Newry’s Páirc Esler was declined by Down GAA.
