Crokes ease into another Kerry final

Dr Crokes cantered through to the 2025 Kerry SFC final when beating Kenmare Shamrocks by 0-17 to 1-9 at Austin Stack Park.
The holders were never in any real danger in Sunday’s semi-final, comfortably sealing a decider date with Na Gaeil without coming out of second gear. Eight unanswered points in the first quarter set the tone and the Killarney kingpins led by 0-11 to 0-4 at the break.
The winners had the breeze at their backs in the first half and top scorer Tony Brosnan took full advantage as he registered 0-6 during that opening half-hour, supplemented by a couple more scores in the third quarter.
Tom Murnane’s goal 20 seconds after the restart offered Kenmare fleeting hope but, with the talismanic Seanie O’Shea looking somewhat out of sorts for the underdogs, Crokes remained in control and effortlessly got over the line. Rookie finalists Na Gaeil - business-end winners over Dingle and Rathmore - stand between Andrew Kenneally's men and a record-extending 15th county title.
