Diogo Jota statement issued as Portugal Football Federation 'completely devastated'

The Portugal Football Federation have released a statement following the tragic passing of Diogo Jota. The forward made 49 senior appearances for his nation, scoring 14 goals.

Jota’s final appearance for Portugal came last month when he came off of the bench to play 15 minutes in the Nations League final against Spain. His side went on to claim the title on penalties.
