FPL injury update: Muniz, Son, Alexander-Arnold, Delap, Aina and Schar latest for GW34

We're approaching the final push in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season, and this gameweek is a big one. With Arsenal, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Manchester City all out of action, some significant reshuffling may be necessary to get the XI in good shape.
A handful of popular selections are nursing borderline injury problems ahead of the 11am (BST) deadline on Saturday morning. So here, Express Sport brings you the latest on their current conditions...
Rodrigo Muniz
The 23-year-old has an unspecified injury which kept him out of Sunday's Chelsea defeat, and looks set to keep him out of the trip to Southampton too. Fulham boss Marco Silva said: "Probably, we’re almost sure that Rodrigo is going to be, unfortunately, out for the next game. Let’s see after that but even for straight away after it’s going to be very difficult to have him back. Unfortunately for us, he’s a big miss."
Son Heung-min
The Tottenham captain has not featured in any of their last three games due to a foot injury. Ange Postecoglou said Son had been dealing with the issue for 'a while' and it had been 'deteriorating'. Spurs face Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday but the first leg of their Europa League semi-final against Bodo/Glimt next week is the more pressing issue.
Alexander-Arnold missed over a month with an ankle problem before coming off the bench and scoring on his return at Leicester City last weekend. He is therefore expected to feature in some capacity against Tottenham.

Liam Delap
The Ipswich Town striker was only fit enough for brief cameos off the bench in each of his last two games. Manager Kieran McKenna said of Delap, who is nursing a rib injury ahead of Saturday's trip to Newcastle: "His focus is on trying to get back to full health and get ready for the game."
Ola Aina
Nottingham Forest don't play until Thursday as they are in FA Cup semi-final action against Manchester City this weekend, but any points accumulated at home to Brentford will still count towards the current gameweek. Flying full-back Aina has missed the last four games, and he was seen on crutches at Villa Park earlier this month. Speaking to Gary Lineker on The Rest is Football, Aina said: "I tore my calf, but not too bad though, it was a little grade 2, so it’s not a bad one. I’m just taking it day by day to be fair. It’s come along really well, but yeah, just taking it day by day."
Fabian Schar
The Newcastle defender was withdrawn in the 4-1 defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday due to pain in his hamstring. He wasn't spotted in training pictures released by the Magpies this week, either. Stand-in manager Jason Tindall said: "I felt it was the wise move to bring him off and to try and protect him, to make sure that hopefully he's OK for the remaining games."
Emile Smith Rowe
The former Arsenal man missed the Chelsea game with a back injury but he has been back in team training ahead of the trip to Southampton. Fulham boss Silva said: "We have another session tomorrow and afterwards we are going to make a decision. It looks like he’s going to be in contention for the game."
Ederson
The goalkeeper was replaced by Stefan Ortega for the last two Manchester City games, and the deputy stopper conceded only once. Ederson has a groin injury which has been 'disturbing' him, according to Pep Guardiola, and he has not been tagged with a return date.
Jose Sa
The Wolves goalkeeper was ruled out minutes before last weekend's win at Old Trafford after picking up an injury in the warm-up. It is currently unclear whether that will also rule him out of Leicester City's visit to Molineux on Saturday.
