Hayes on the mend after being hospitalised

Kyle Hayes was back on the sideline cheering on his Kildimo-Pallaskenry club-mates during their Limerick SHC defeat to Mungret-St Paul's at the weekend.
The welcome sight came just three weeks after the five-time All-Star suffered concussion and a back injury following a hefty collision with Maurice Murphy - who subsequently received a straight red card - in Kildimo-Pallaskenry’s Round 2 clash with Newcastle West.
Hayes was treated for a number of minutes before being taken to University Hospital Limerick for an MRI scan and further treatment.
Last Friday evening's defeat leaves Kildimo-Pallaskenry in a battle to retain their senior status ahead of the final round of group matches on the weekend after next when Hayes could feature.
