What TV channel is Liverpool vs Newcastle on? How to watch Premier League match

Football fans will be able to tune into what is effectively a preview of this year's League Cup final when Liverpool host Newcastle United in the Premier League at Anfield.
Arne Slot's side have the opportunity to solidify their place at the top of the table. The Merseysiders have been close to faultless this season, but Eddie Howe's side have proved they have what it takes to go toe-to-toe with the Reds on the pitch.
In a pulsating December clash at St. James' Park, the two Premier League sides drew 3-3, with the Toon's Fabian Schar netting an equaliser in the 90th minute. Slot's men will want to get revenge, particularly as their second meeting of the campaign comes a matter of weeks before their tussle at Wembley Stadium.
While Liverpool are winning the title race, Howe's side are still in the hunt for Champions League qualification. Ahead of the clash, Mirror Football takes you through how you can watch the match.

What the managers have said
Slot used his press conference to further warn his players about the ability of Newcastle star man Alexander Isak. The Swede, who has previously been linked with Liverpool, is joint-second with Erling Haaland in the top goalscorer charts with 19 goals and five assists in 24 games.
When asked about Isak, Slot said: "Understatement to say in fine form, he is in excellent form. The team performance will help control him. The more ball possession we have the more we can control him, although he is dangerous on counter-attacks. But we have two very good centre-backs, which is what you need when you face the quality of Isak.
"I like the style of play Eddie Howe has introduced, a team who has a very good game-plan, very intense with or without the ball. Not the only offensive threat they have, [Anthony] Gordon is a big threat."
Meanwhile, Newcastle boss Howe believes his side will need to be perfect if they want to beat the Reds. The ex-Bournemouth manager said: "We need to be close to a perfect game from our perspective.
"Learning from the recent game against Manchester City would be a good starting point for us where we didn't execute the aggressive game plan that we wanted. We need to learn from that at Anfield which is a great environment to play football in but not good if you're not totally there.
"We have to acknowledge that and make sure we turn up. Psychologically it's huge. It's an emotional stadium, we're going to need to start well and have a threat in the game."
