‘I’m making caravan holidays cool again’: Inside the seaside holiday park Danny Dyer is now running with daughter Dani

BAFTA-winning actor Danny Dyer is going back to his holiday roots by taking on a huge caravan park project.
Danny and his daughter, Dani Dyer, have invested in and will be managing their own caravan park on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent.
The father and daughter duo are filming how they're getting on in their new roles at Priory Hill & Nutts Farm Holiday Park, as part of a new TV series with Sky.
Danny is one of the UK's best-known faces with roles in everything from EastEnders to last year's Disney blockbuster Rivals - and the show he won a BAFTA for, Mr Bigstuff.
But he's been spotted doing everything from maintenance to mowing the grass at the seaside park in recent months.
The caravan park is found in Leysdown, Kent and was founded in 1951, in the heyday of British caravan holidays.
He revealed more about the new job on the Table Manners podcast, saying: "Nostalgia is important for me. Every holiday, I used to go to Canvey Island at a place called Thorney Bay Beach Camp.
"My whole the family were together, no phones, no laptops - it was the 80s. We used to hook up for a week, walk along the sea wall do crabbing, go to the arcades, and have a bit of candy floss.
"I used to think it was like Disney World. Now, I want to bring caravan holidays back. Mine is in Leysdown in Kent.
The caravans are all static ones, it’s got some charm about it - but it does need a lick of paint."
Danny went on to say that a caravan holiday used to be a cheap break for families, but now it's more affordable to go abroad.
He also added that youngsters no longer think caravanning is cool so he's going to "try and make it cool again".
The upcoming series with the working title, 'The Dyers' Caravan Park' is set to air later this year.
In a description about the show, Sky has said that Danny and Dani are on a mission to bring back the 'Great British holiday in suitably chaotic fashion'.
It carries on to explain they will 'breathe new life into the caravan industry'.
Sky added that the pair will have their work cut out for them when work begins as they uncover dodgy plumbing, demanding customers and attempt to reinvent the restaurant menu.
Priory Hill & Nutts Farm Holiday Park has everything Brits want from a holiday park on-site.
There's bingo, a disco, kids entertainers and an evening cabaret show.
Nutts Farm Caravan Park has around 182 privately owned caravans, and Priory Hill Holiday Park has at least 105 static caravans.
The caravan park looks out onto Leysdown Beach with some plots having views across the sandy coastline.
Leysdown is an award-winning beach and a traditional seaside resort, with 50 metres of bathing beach, a number of amusement arcades, a cafe and Italian restaurant on the wide promenade.
