€17 million for Edurino: "We thought we'd talk to ten. Then we talked to 100 investors."
Two years after the Series A round, Edurino founders Irene Klemm and Franziska Meyer have closed a new financing round. A total of €17 million has been raised in the Series B round. New investors include Ravensburger Next Ventures and Summiteer. Existing investors DN Capital , Tengelmann Ventures, b2venture , Emerge, FJ Labs, G-FUND, and Jens Begemann, CEO of social games developer Wooga, are also participating in the round.
Which key figures ultimately convinced the investors, how Edurino prepared the round and which tools were helpful – all this and other concrete fundraising tips were revealed to us by the founders in an interview .

The startup association recently named Klemm and Meyer Founders of the Year 2025. The timing of the Series B is just right for the Munich-based EdTech startup. The founders have used the last few years to expand their product portfolio and reach more customers, says Klemm. The startup also expanded to the UK at the end of 2023. "There we were able to demonstrate that our product also works internationally."
With the fresh capital, Edurino plans to develop new content such as video formats. Characters from popular children's brands will also be added as toy figures. The startup also aims to further expand internationally and double its presence in brick-and-mortar stores by the end of the year. Edurino's products will be available in Ravensburger stores, according to Klemm.
We started preparing about six months in advance. The fourth quarter is always particularly important for us because Edurino is often found under the Christmas tree as a gift and is also used for school preparation in the new year. The figures from this period formed the basis for the launch of Series B.
