New leadership at Tonies: The audio box company announces CFO change and appoints a CRO for the first time

In July 2025, Tonies announced a change in the CFO position. Jan Middelhoff , who held this role since May 2023, will leave the company at the end of August for personal reasons, according to a press release.

Middelhoff worked for the company for a total of five years, after initially joining the audio speaker manufacturer as Chief of Staff in 2020.

Jan Middelhoff studied at the University of Münster and ESCP. In 2014, he received his doctorate in entrepreneurship from RWTH Aachen University.

Jan Middelhoff is the eldest son of Thomas Middelhoff, the former CEO of Bertelsmann and Arcandor. In addition to his role at Tonies, he was also active within the family's corporate network.
