AnNa R. von Rosenstolz: New album after her death

In the spring of 2025, singer AnNa R. of the band Rosenstolz died suddenly and unexpectedly. She was found dead in her apartment in Berlin-Friedrichshain. Many fans and friends have since mourned the loss of the 55-year-old pop icon. Now, her manager Frank Wiedermann has announced that AnNa will release one last solo album.
The new album is scheduled for release in September, but an exact date has not yet been set. Ten songs written by the pop singer before her death will be included on the main album. Manager Wiedermann doesn't want to reveal the content of the songs yet, but he does promise very personal lyrics from AnNa R.: "It's definitely her most emotional solo album."
As Bild reported , it was unclear for some time whether the album, titled "Courage to Love," would actually be released after the singer's death. After lengthy deliberations between her family, her management, and her record company, the decision was finally made.
"Her parents wanted this. We then decided it relatively jointly," Wiedermann explained to the Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland (RND).
According to the manager, the new album was first announced at a memorial event at the University of Koblenz on Wednesday, May 21. AnNa R., whose real name is Andrea Rosenbaum, was a poetry lecturer there.
Wiedermann confirms: The album's sales profits will be donated. To whom? The manager doesn't want to reveal that yet, as there are no firm agreements with potential organizations yet. "But our idea is set; we will definitely donate," he promises.
