Merz in the White House: Really great visit to the three-year-old

Reading time: 5 min.
Chancellor Friedrich Merz meets with US President Donald Trump. Germany is nervous and would like to advise him—unfortunately, a completely hopeless undertaking.
The Oval Office isn't as big as it sometimes looks on TV. It measures 75 square meters and is almost as cluttered with furniture and knick-knacks as Aunt Else's living room. The Chancellor's office in Berlin is about 140 square meters. It's as soberly furnished as Aunt Angela's or Uncle Olaf's workplace. Moreover, Friedrich Merz has a much better view from his office than Donald Trump does from the Oval Office. One can see half of Berlin from the seventh floor, the other can see flowers and trees from the ground floor.
