Munich (ots) - On July 2nd at 5:15 p.m., the live broadcasts of the UEFA Women's European Championship 2025 begin on Das Erste and in the ARD Mediathek – and now there's the perfect music. "Is This What You've Been Waiting For?" – the current single by Amy Macdonald – is the official ARD European Championship song. "It's a great honor to have my song featured on the Women's European Football Championship on ARD – the energy and goosebumps during a live show on stage are similar to the emotions you experience on the football pitch. I can't wait to see all the incredible players on the pitch this summer," said the football-loving Scot. The song will be heard for the first time on Das Erste on Saturday, May 24th, when ARD's official program application for the UEFA Women's European Championship will launch as part of the live broadcast of the "Final Day of the Amateurs."
