An Australian radio station has an AI host it, and in the US, teenagers were able to engage in suggestive dialogues with Meta's AI chatbot and the voices of celebrities. And the fakes are getting better and better.
It had worked, for months. Since November 2024, the Australian radio station CADA had been running the show "Workdays with Thy." The young presenter didn't say much during the four-hour show. And when she did, it always sounded pretty much the same. And so some people became suspicious. Why, for example, journalist Stephanie Coombes wondered on her blog , was there no reference to Thy on the website of the station, which is part of the Australian Radio Network (ARN)?
