Earn money with Germany's renovation
More than one trillion euros are to be invested in infrastructure and the energy transition. How private investors can benefit from this with new funds and why caution is advised.
Now it's finally starting: In the coming years, government and industry will be spending enormous sums on the energy transition and the overhaul of Germany's dilapidated infrastructure. Experts estimate the investment requirement at up to 1.5 trillion euros. These gigantic projects are likely to generate millions in profits for many companies. Private investors can now also profit from this. But this isn't possible with stocks. Wind farms, power grids, and highways are generally not listed on the stock exchange. However, participation is possible through a relatively new form of fund, the European Long-Term Investment Funds (ELTIFs) , not to be confused with ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) .
