"The fact that the Fed, which is not bound by directives, is currently focusing particularly on price stability because it fears rising inflation at home due to the tariff war declared on the entire world, bothers the US president. He is demanding an expansionary monetary policy, i.e., a reduction in the key interest rate, which should not only boost companies' investment confidence but, above all, reduce the interest burden on the exorbitant national debt. For now, Trump's offensive is achieving the opposite. In the short term, yields on US Treasury bonds have risen on the international financial markets. In the long term, a Fed dependent on the US government calls into question the global economic model that has existed since the end of World War II.
