In the case of Oziel Inácio-Stech, a homosexual teacher who was bullied by students and a teacher at a Berlin elementary school , Education Senator Katharina Günther-Wünsch (CDU) admitted that she did not read a letter from the teacher's lawyer until five months after receiving it. In the nine-page letter, which was obtained by the Süddeutsche Zeitung and sent to the senator by registered mail with return receipt and in advance by email on December 4, 2024, the lawyer describes in detail how his client had been "slandered with false allegations of fact for personal reasons" by an "extremely dubious teacher." Neither the head of the Berlin -Mitte school inspectorate, Detlev Thietz, nor the school administration investigated the matter.
