Russia attacks Ukraine again with drones – three dead in Kyiv

Kyiv. The Ukrainian capital Kyiv and several other cities were again attacked by swarms of Russian drones overnight. At least three people were killed in drone strikes in Kyiv, according to the military administration. At least ten people were injured. Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced on the Telegram platform that four people were injured in a drone strike in a student dormitory alone.
Regional military administrator Timur Tkachenko had previously reported on the Telegram platform about dozens of kamikaze drones flying over Kyiv. Air defenses were deployed to repel the attacks.
Russian drone attacks were also reported from Kharkiv in the east, Mykolaiv in the south, and the port city of Odessa. The Russian combat drones attacked the port city in several waves from different directions, the Unian news agency reported.
Early this morning, Russian cruise missiles also headed for Ukraine. The Kalibr guided missiles were fired from ships in the Black Sea and from Tupolev Tu-95 and Tu-160 bombers, Ukrainian media reported, citing air defense sources. The target of the missiles was not initially disclosed.
The Russian military had already attacked Kyiv with drones and missiles the night before. Fifteen people were injured and numerous houses were set on fire. In total, Ukraine experienced around 250 drone attacks and airstrikes with 14 ballistic missiles overnight into Saturday.
