New platform for the FDP. In order to make it back into the Bundestag in the next election, the Liberals will adopt a new platform. This was announced by Henning Höne, who is running for deputy chairman at the party conference at the end of the week. He wants to involve FDP members, but also critics, in the work on this platform. But it is now launching a social selection process in its digitalization department – even though Deutsche Bahn CEO Lutz has so far strictly ruled out compulsory layoffs. Vorwerk is increasing its Thermomix production capacity. The company is struggling to keep up with production of the new TM7 model, and customers are having to wait months for a device. The company currently has around 260,000 pre-orders, says CEO Thomas Stoffmehl. A new factory has been built in France for this purpose. The goal is to produce 1.5 million devices per year.
