A 17-year-old was killed in a Russian airstrike on the eastern Ukrainian city of Sloviansk. Three other people were injured, the military governor of the Donetsk region, Vadym Filashkin, wrote on Telegram. In addition, 32 private homes and four high-rise buildings were damaged in the airstrike.
Filashkin appealed to the population to leave the Donetsk region and go to safe areas of the country.
Ukraine has been defending itself against the Russian invasion for more than three years. Russian attacks repeatedly result in civilian casualties in Ukraine.
