War in Ukraine: Electric shocks until confession

Electric shocks until confession
From Olivier Del Fabbro

Russia systematically tortures Ukrainian soldiers and forces them to confess to murders of civilians they did not commit. Putin uses this as a propaganda tool for his own population.
Since the beginning of its major invasion of Ukraine , Russia has systematically sentenced Ukrainian prisoners of war to decades of imprisonment. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, or Sledkom for short, plays a key role in the fabrication of these trials. Its agents fabricate fictitious evidence and torture prisoners to confess to crimes. Vladislav Andrianov, now 29 years old and an infantryman in the Azov Brigade, survived such imprisonment and sentencing.
