Women's European Championship 2025: Match schedule and broadcast today (4 July 2025)

The European Championship will run almost the entire month of July. The tournament begins on Wednesday, July 2, and ends on Sunday, July 27, 2025.

Sixteen nations have qualified for the European Championship in Switzerland. The participants are divided into four groups of four teams each.
Groups A to D are composed as follows:
- Group A: Switzerland , Norway , Iceland , Finland
- Group B: Spain , Portugal , Belgium , Italy
- Group C: Germany , Poland , Denmark , Sweden
- Group D: France , England , Wales , Netherlands
The teams from Group A will play their opening match , Iceland versus Finland. The same day, hosts Switzerland will face Norway, also from Group A. Germany will begin its group match on July 4 , followed by further matches on July 8 and July 12.
The German women's national team will be competing for their ninth title this summer. With eight European Championship wins, Germany remains the record holder.
