The PSOE headquarters in Valencia was vandalized with graffiti: "The mastermind is the PP."

The PSPV-PSOE headquarters in the city of Valencia has been vandalized with black graffiti and a sheet , as reported on social media by municipal spokesperson Borja Sanjuán. His party has filed a complaint and points to the PP as the "mastermind."
"They're attacking Socialist Party headquarters because their target is democracy itself," the local leader lamented, although he has remained firm in the face of such actions: "And they won't succeed in ending either of those things."
The political party also added online that "those who lack arguments, despise democracy, and encourage hate speech have only this left. Is this the society the right defends? It's unacceptable. They will not succeed in intimidating us."
This headquarters is located on Hospital de Valencia Street and was found vandalized this Sunday with black paint stains on the building's facade and a sheet with the party logo crossed out with a red cross.
To denounce this act, Sanjuán has spread a message on his profile on the social network X, in which he has placed it in the context of other attacks on PSOE headquarters in Spanish cities.
Speaking to the media on Sunday after learning of these events, the Secretary of Organization of the PSPV-PSOE, Vicent Mascarell, stated that this act "is not a prank , it is not an improvised act," but rather a "violent" act that "was carried out with malice aforethought, premeditated intent , and under the cover of night."
In his opinion, "they have an intellectual actor with a name and surname: the Popular Party ." "The hatred that was unleashed against the Socialists this weekend at the Popular Party Congress, the verbal violence exercised against the Prime Minister, against Socialist leaders, by Mr. Aznar, Mr. Feijóo, and Mr. Rajoy, have resulted in violent acts," he stated.
"They've come here with elements that require financial resources, premeditation, and organization. And that's only possible with a party, with financial resources, and, obviously, with a lot of hatred behind it," he reiterated.
Mascarell emphasized that the Valencian Socialists "demand and call for an end to the hate attacks against socialists in all their offices throughout Spain." "We demand direct and forceful condemnation from Mr. Feijóo, Mr. Aznar, and Mr. Mazón," he emphasized, adding that "the Socialists, throughout history, have suffered many such attacks."
The secretary general of the PPCV and PP ombudsman in the Valencian Parliament, Juanfran Pérez Llorca , condemned this act: "When they painted graffiti on the PPCV headquarters, I missed the condemnation from the other political parties, but I'm not going to be like them and I want to condemn these events that occurred at the headquarters of the PSOE in the Valencian Community."
For her part, the mayor of Valencia, María José Catalá , also "firmly" condemned the attack on the Socialist Party headquarters, stating that "violence is never the way forward" and that "defending democracy also means rejecting these acts, wherever they come from."
However, in a historical retrospective, Socialist leader Mascarell noted that in the PSOE, "from the very beginning, from the very beginning, the leaders have tried to silence, persecute, and vilify them": "They did it defending freedom during the Second Republic , they did it throughout the Franco regime , they defended democracy during the transition , and in recent years they have defended freedom in the Basque Country. Now we are doing it again."
Mascarell stated that the party "has already filed a complaint and proceedings have been opened": "We will demand accountability from the legal services."
"This headquarters will be open in just a few hours. They won't silence us or stop us," he concluded.
For her part, the general secretary of the PSPV-PSOE (Socialist Party of Valencia), Diana Morant, asserted that "no attack will stop" the Valencian socialists, who "are stronger than ever."
Morant has demanded that "the PP of Mazón, Feijóo, and Aznar condemn these anti-democratic acts," as he believes that "it is urgent that they abandon hate speech."
He also sent "strength" to the Government Delegate in the Valencian Community and Secretary of Equality for the PSOE, Pilar Bernabé, and to the PSOE's Secretary of Organization, Rebeca Torró . "They won't stop us," he stated.
Torró also stated that "their intolerance makes us stronger." "They will not silence us," he noted, while emphasizing that "democracy and socialist values are more necessary than ever."
For his part, Bernabé described the attack on the PSPV headquarters as " savage " and lamented that "it is not an isolated incident," but rather "the rotten fruit of the extreme hatred fueled by the right, of the daily targeting of the fascist sphere, of the poison sown by some and carried out by others."
The PSPV (Spanish Socialist Party ) Ombudsman in the Valencian Parliament, José Muñoz, also denounced it on his social media profile, "X," as "the worst intolerance supported by the same old hate speech." "In the face of this, the strength of our acronym and our membership. 146 years of history and the firm will to continue transforming our country," he added.
Likewise, the spokesperson for Compromís in the Valencia City Council, Papi Robles , has indicated that " corruption , more than a pretext for attack, seems like an excuse ."
"There are those who have a serious problem with the democratic order and ideological plurality. Violence is never a legitimate reaction in politics. We completely condemn the attack on the PSPV headquarters," he said.
