They propose that July memes feature Julio César Chávez.

Ring Hot.- Tired of seeing the same Julio Iglesias memes every time the month begins, a group of citizens prone to laughing at everything has proposed that, starting this year, July memes will feature Julio César Chávez .

While the Spanish singer's cartoons have warmed the hearts of the boomer generation in particular, many agree that it's time for a change.

Nobody asked Julio César Chávez anything.

“Julio Iglesias was fine, but enough, right?! ” questioned one internet user who is increasingly demanding of memes.

The proposal has already been sent to the highest echelons of the internet—namely, to the admins of Duolingo and Channel 5—with the intention that, starting today, all the jokes this summer month will feature the Mexican boxing legend.

“It’s already July… and if you talk to me too much, I’ll punch you in the liver,” said the first meme created under this new mechanism, although they forgot to include the joke inside.

I see some people (casuals, non-boxing fans, etc.) are getting exposed to the idea that Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is a disgrace to his father and his legacy.

For his part, Julio César Chávez has already spoken out, asserting that he did not authorize anything, but that he is fine with it, as long as it is not used to promote the SAT or PepsiCo.

In case you missed it: Florinda Meza came out to clarify why she called Chespirito's children "defects," and it would have been better if she hadn't said anything at all.
