Flying cockroaches: Tips to get rid of them

Their nocturnal activity and ability to hide in cracks and corners make them difficult to detect. CANVA/ SPECIAL
Flying cockroaches are one of the most feared pests in homes and businesses. Their ability to move through the air and their rapid reproduction make them a difficult threat to control. However, identifying their nests and applying effective methods can help eliminate them without resorting to harsh chemicals.
According to the National Pesticide Information Center, flying cockroaches belong to the order Blattodea and are distinguished from other species by their functional wings, which allow them to glide or fly short distances. Although they typically avoid contact with humans, their nocturnal activity and ability to hide in cracks and corners make them difficult to detect.
