The Red Cross and Voz Mayor have joined forces to launch the 60+ Certification, a seal that recognizes companies committed to older adults.

The Colombian Red Cross Education Institute, Cundinamarca and Bogotá Section, in partnership with Voz Mayor, presents the 60+ Certification, a seal that recognizes companies committed to serving people over 60.
Voz Mayor explains that the aging population has become one of the country's greatest social and economic challenges. Beyond a health issue, it involves transforming the way institutions, businesses, and education respond to the new needs of an increasingly aging society.
Given this situation, the 60+ Certification was born: Companies Committed to Older Adults, an initiative that promotes more inclusive, safe, and adapted work, institutional, and social environments for this population.

It is a comprehensive evaluation and support process that allows organizations to demonstrate their commitment to the well-being, participation, and autonomy of older adults.
Through a structured technical methodology, best practices in age inclusion, accessibility, social responsibility, and service design focused on this segment are recognized.

"Being certified as a 60+ Company is a commitment to the value of experience, intergenerational dialogue, and active aging. The most innovative companies manage talent and develop products for an expanding market with vision and responsibility," said Alejandro Cheyne García, president of Voz Mayor.
The alliance between Voz Mayor and the Red Cross seeks to enhance the technical, ethical, and social impact of this certification.
"Organizations truly committed to this population not only hire and retain them, they also adapt their spaces, services, and policies. They value their experience and promote well-being environments for them," said Gabriel.
Camero Ramos, president of the Section.
