iPhone 17, LIVE: Apple unveils its new models at the 2025 Apple Event
The last (and most anticipated) major event of the year in the smartphone industry has arrived: Apple Event 2025 . Everything is now ready for the presentation of the new generation of iPhone 17 , which includes the first ultra-thin model ( Air ), unprecedented changes to the Pro models and new features for the Apple Watch, AirPods and Vision Pro.
The Apple Event will take place this Tuesday at 10 a.m. local time ( 2 p.m. in Argentina ), in the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.
The big news at the event is speculated to be the unveiling of the brand's thinnest and lightest smartphone in the lineup, the iPhone 17 Air . It will reportedly have a 6.6-inch OLED display and be just 5.5mm thick (2.3mm thinner than the iPhone 16). It is said to be equipped with a single 24-megapixel camera on the rear.
Everything is ready for the presentation of the new iPhone 17 family. Just over two hours before the event began, CEO Tim Cook said that "days like today are some of the most exciting times at Apple."
