Apple launched the iPhone Air: a cell phone just 5 millimeters thick.

This September 9th, the traditional Apple Event took place, an event where the American technology giant announces its new products and technological plans for the current year.
One of the most anticipated announcements is the iPhone 17; however, Apple surprised everyone by announcing the iPhone Air, a mobile device measuring just 5.6 millimeters thick and weighing around 165 grams, making it the thinnest iPhone in history.

The iPhone Air becomes the thinnest device in the iPhone line, and another new feature is that it only has a 48-megapixel rear camera.
According to the company, the iPhone Air works like multiple advanced cameras in one. Capture photos in ultra-high 48MP resolution for exceptional detail or in 24MP by default, or use the built-in 2x telephoto lens to zoom in with exceptionally sharp quality.
Apple also announced that the iPhone Air features: the A19 Pro chip, the fastest CPU in any smartphone and the most advanced GPU ever; the device also has a 6.5" ProMotion display (3000 nits) and a battery that it promises will last all day.
Like the iPhone 16, this device only works with eSIM, is not compatible with the physical chip and also has an N1 chip for: Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and Thread.
