Samsung unveils Odyssey 3D display with glasses-free technology and real-time content conversion

Samsung announced the arrival in Colombia of the Odyssey 3D monitor (model G90XF) , a device that introduces technological innovations to the field of digital entertainment. Its launch coincides with Gamer's Day, on August 29th, an event for which the brand has also organized a special tournament at the Movistar Game Club in Bogotá.
The Odyssey 3D incorporates eye-tracking technology combined with a lenticular lens that allows viewing of 3D content without glasses. A built-in stereoscopic camera detects eye position and movement in real time, even if the user is wearing prescription glasses, automatically adjusting the pixels to create a natural sense of depth.
This technology eliminates the visual discomfort traditionally associated with 3D and can be used with both video games and 2D content without sacrificing image quality or performance.
Another highlight of the Odyssey 3D is its ability to convert 2D content to 3D in real time, thanks to the use of artificial intelligence. This expands its use beyond gaming, allowing you to view videos, photos, and content on platforms like YouTube in 3D.
Some of the games compatible with this feature include popular titles like Palworld, Stray, The Smurfs: Dreams, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, and The First Berserker: Khazan. Samsung announced plans to expand the catalog available on its Odyssey 3D Hub platform before the end of the year.
In addition to its 3D capabilities, the Odyssey 3D doubles as a high-end monitor with a 27-inch display, 4K resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, and 1ms (GtG) response time. It includes support for FreeSync Premium and G-Sync technologies for improved fluidity in high-performance games.
The device also stands out for its modern design and quality materials, making it an attractive option for both gaming setups and professional workstations.
Samsung will celebrate Gamer Day with a tournament at the Movistar Game Club in Bogotá on August 29th. At the event, attendees will be able to try out the Odyssey line of monitors and compete on different gaming stations.
Participants must register in advance on the event's official website. Throughout the event, they can accumulate points that can be redeemed for prizes such as gaming headsets, discount vouchers, and concert tickets.
