Minutes later, Chinwendu Ihezuo was brought down in the box and Charlyn converted the penalty to make it 2-0, confirming her lead in scoring and dealing a significant blow to the Eagles.

América tried to respond with adjustments from Ángel Villacampa and a goal disallowed by Irene Guerrero for a previous foul. Naomi Oke's injury led to the introduction of Nina Nicosia, who would prove crucial later on.

In the second half, the Argentine took advantage of a counterattack, eluded the goalkeeper, and scored the final 3-0, although she had initially been flagged for offside.

The Blue and Cream team tried offensive substitutions, but they never found clarity or forcefulness. Pachuca maintained its defensive order, resisted without any problems, and made it clear that it is enjoying its best form of the tournament.
