STORY - A "lonely" man from western France is accused of encouraging young girls to self-harm on video. He admitted to beheading dogs and rabbits himself and to being part of a decentralized network guilty of the worst atrocities. Le Figaro has tracked him down.
A monstrous community that is said to number several thousand members. The "764" network, still largely unknown to the general public, was suddenly brought to light in France by the public prosecutor of Évreux this Friday, August 22. In a press release, Rémi Coutin announced the indictment and imprisonment of one of the members of this sinister community for "possession of child pornography, acts of cruelty and abuse of weakness."
Arrested Tuesday, this "lonely, unemployed" man is accused of the worst atrocities. He allegedly first scoured websites for suicidal young girls, looking for victims who would agree to self-harm or self-harm at his request. Once he had his prey hooked, he would contact them via webcam and encourage them to stab their thighs, breasts, arms, or stomachs so they could carve his name. He reportedly managed to convince around fifty young girls to do so.
