The Charmed One. Burning car found in river: no bodies inside

Early in the morning, the Saône-et-Loire firefighters intervened in the commune of La Charmée, along the D49: the visible part of a car was still burning even though it was in the small river La Corne.

The intervention required divers to search for bodies. It proved unsuccessful, and no victims were found on the shore.

Around twenty firefighters were nevertheless mobilized, coming from the emergency centers of Chalon-sur-Saône, Montceau-les-Mines, Tournus and Mâcon
