Skip the adWhite House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said Tuesday that Musk, who is in the midst of a sweeping overhaul of the federal bureaucracy , will attend the first cabinet meeting of President Donald Trump's second term on Wednesday.
The multi-billionaire, who does not have a ministerial portfolio but has the status of a "special employee" of the government, heads a commission for government efficiency (Doge), whose spectacular announcements and radical decisions continue to shake up the American state apparatus.
