Eurovision 2025: What is Louane's ranking with the bookmakers?

The French singer, who is competing in the Eurovision 2025 final this Saturday evening with the song "Maman," is still in a very good position among the competition's bettors.
By Marianne ChenouWill he win? Will he not? You know the eternal refrain of Eurovision fans: "This year is the one!" We won't be able to tell you until the end of the 2025 edition this Saturday evening whether France will finally claim its sixth victory in the contest with Louane and her song "Maman." But what we can do, however, is take you into the twists and turns of the betting rankings, a veritable crystal ball of Eurovision. So, Louane, winner or loser?
For several years, France has established itself as a safe bet for those betting on the winner of the European song festival. From the very beginning of the betting opening for this 69th edition, France was expected to play at the top of the table, in around 7th position, strong from the 4th place achieved in 2024 by Slimane with the song "Mon amour".
Louane's revelation as the French representative only confirmed the trend: France has gradually climbed to 2nd position among the terrible "bookmakers", whose reputation is well established. It's quite simple, over the last ten editions, the winning song is systematically in their top 3 , when it is not outright at the top of their predictions.
Then came the official presentation of the song in mid-March . Stade de France, fireworks, suspended platform... Everything came together to create a "wow" effect. Once again, this was felt in the French singer's rating. For nearly two months, Louane clung to 3rd place in the ranking, beaten by Sweden and Austria .
The Frenchwoman did, however, experience a slight drop of one place at the start of the week. After her performances in the first semi-final, she dropped one place to the benefit of Claude, the Dutch candidate.
That was without counting on her performance this Thursday evening , which captivated the audience at the Halle Saint-Jacques and the television viewers. Having climbed back onto the third step of the podium this Friday morning, she has since seen her chances of winning gradually climb, going from 6% to 10%. Facing her, Austria has 21%, and Sweden, the clear favorite, has 41%.
