Vox Vesunna will sing under the musical angels of the Romanesque church of Saint-Méard-de-Dronne

The Périgord men's choir, Vox Vesunna, in full force, will give a concert in the Romanesque church of Saint-Méard-de-Dronne on Saturday, May 17.
The 23 choristers, under the direction of choirmaster Éric Sobczyk, accompanied on the piano by Jean-Baptiste Cougol, will perform their entire program "Music for All," which was once again given a standing ovation on April 27 at the Saint-Georges church in Périgueux.
A repertoire of sixteen songs moving happily from an extract from Faust "Le Ch'ur des Soldats" to "L'amour de Moy" by a composer of the French Renaissance and taken up by Guy Béart and Nana Mouskouri to "Conquest of Paradise", music from the soundtrack of the film "1492 'Christophe Colomb" and to finish the first part "Saltarelle, op.74" by Camille Saint-Saëns.
No more than ten minutes of intermission to appreciate the 430 m2 of wall paintings dating from the 15th century and above the choir the procession of musician angels. In the second part, seven songs ranging from “Near the Foreign River” by Charles Gounod to the “Chur des Esclaves”, taken from Nabucco by G. Verdi.
