At the Paris Air Show, the Ministry of the Interior meets with regional stakeholders
As the International Paris Air Show (SIAE) takes place from Monday, June 16 to Sunday, June 22, 2025, the Ministry of the Interior has dedicated time to Lyon companies specializing in the sector.
Lyon's aeronautics industry players did not go unnoticed at the Paris Air Show, which runs until Sunday, June 22, 2025. François-Noël Buffet, Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Interior, took advantage of the event to meet with several Lyon-based companies specializing in the sector.
The minister particularly praised the performance of Sunaero, a company based in Genay, as well as ThermiLyon, a company specializing in heat treatment. Two players who, according to him, "demonstrate the economic and industrial dynamism of the region." He also emphasized that "their expertise in civil and military aeronautics is valuable and must be promoted."
80 companies from the region represented at the show
No fewer than 80 companies based in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes attended the show over the week to support and promote its aerospace ecosystem. For the occasion, the Region announced the creation of a €100 million investment fund dedicated to the defense industry .
