The second round of the French championship takes place on the Puy de Poursay circuit

The Puy de Poursay circuit, located in Mazeray, a few kilometers from Saint-Jean-d'Angély, will host the second round of the French Enduro Championship on Saturday, May 31st and Sunday, June 1st. More than 300 riders were even expected on Friday evening for a new event: the Super Test. In the Elite 1 category, reigning champion Hugo Blanjoue (Elite Factory Honda) is the favorite ahead of Romain Dagna (Elite Moto 15 KTM) and Valentin Mersin (Bonneton Fantic). Matthis Juillard (DSN Motos) and Till De Clercq (Stark Varg) could cause a surprise.

The E2 category will be very open. Zach Pichon (TM Euroboost), provisional championship leader, will not be present in Saint-Jean-d'Angély. This will be a great opportunity for Luc Fargier (Dafy Enduro Team), currently in 2nd place, to take the lead in the championship. But he will have to be wary of Léo Joyon (Oxmoto Beta). A duel is in the offing between these two riders. But Thibault Giraudon (Sherco Academy) and Anthony Geslin (DSN Motos) can also hope for victory. In E3, Breton Léo Le Quéré (TM Euroboost) dominates the standings. Maxime Clauzier (Atomic Beta), Erik Willems (TM Euroboost), and Loïc Larrieu (Rieju) are solid outsiders.

Close fight among women

In the women's category, the race is expected to be tight between Rosie Rowett, Marine Lemoine, Andréa De Giovanni, and Charlène Boudon. Justine Martel, the reigning French champion, will also obviously be a serious contender for victory. Finally, in the junior category, uncertainty also reigns. In J1, Gabin Allemand, leading the general classification, will have a tough battle with Diego Foucher (Dafy Enduro Team), Armand Rouquette (Sherco Academy), and Mattéo Arrieta (Bonneton Fantic).

In the J2/3 category, Dorian Simon (Bonneton Fantic) is the big favorite. Quentin Clerc-Tournier (DSN Motos), a solid second-placed rider, will try to close the gap. Antonin Mille (Elite Factory Honda) completes the leading trio and could well be in the race for victory. It should be noted that the Elite riders will complete three laps of the circuit, while the Nationals will complete two.
