Philippe Tabarot is counting on part of the profits from motorways to finance transport
At the end of the financing conference, Ambition France Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot reinforced the principle of motorway concessions. A portion of the profits, €2.5 billion per year by 2036, will be redirected to regenerate existing mobility.
In transport, some (timid) progress? This Wednesday, July 9, the president of the Ambition France Transports conference on infrastructure financing, Dominique Bussereau, presented the conclusions of ten weeks of work to the Minister of Transport, Philippe Tabarot.
The document includes 14 proposals intended to address investment needs for the regeneration of networks (rail, non-concessionary road, freight transport) estimated at 3 billion over the period 2026-2031....
