This Var municipality has taken out a loan of 400,000 euros to rehabilitate its water network.

The elected officials recently voted unanimously with one abstention on question number 7 on the agenda proposed by the mayor, Fabien Brieugne.

The council was informed and validated the need to establish an agreement between the municipality and the neighboring municipalities, in order to authorize access and intervention of RCSC-CCFF volunteers (1). This agreement will be renewed at each term of office.

The county council will be asked to apply for a grant, as part of police fines, to secure a section of the road following its widening and ensure pedestrian safety. The cost of the work is €28,000 excluding tax.

Replacement of 1.5 km

In 2022, a resolution approved emergency work on the drinking water network (replacement of 1.5 km of the network) to reduce leaks and save water. To carry out this project (already started), the council decided to take out a €400,000 loan (over 30 years, approximately €1,500 per month), which will help maintain cash flow.

Among other items on the agenda, exceptional aid may be granted (via the former CCAS) upon requests supported by supporting documents and capped at 500 euros per person per year. As of June 1, a permanent position (35 hours) will be created in the administrative sector.

Furthermore, the establishment of a competition fund (public lighting on Chemin du Chavardet) for the benefit of TE83-Symielec (2), amounts to 37,990 euros, the municipality's contribution is 25,330 euros. However, the amounts of this deliberation are estimates and will be the subject of a precise statement of expenditure at the end of the work.

An agreement to provide communal land (one abstention) will be established for the benefit of the "Archers Joyeux" association for an archery activity. The amount of the provision from June 23 to September 5 will be between €400 and €600 during the season.

At the end of the council meeting, the mayor recalled the holding of the "Star Party" astronomy festival at the stadium from May 29 to June 1, the recreational afternoon organized by "Les Diablotins" on June 25 and the poetry festival which will take place from June 27 to 29.
