Two new businesses are opening in this village near Nice

A Casino convenience store has just opened in the new "Cœur de Village" real estate development, which includes 25 homes. It is headed by a couple: Emma and Maxence Dumoulin.

A child of the village, Maxence first worked in construction. His wife, for her part, already manages a similar business in the Cimiez district of Nice.

"We want to give a lot of space to the fresh produce side, and all our fruits and vegetables come from the Nice national interest market, " they say. "Our shelves also feature local produce."

This 170 m² space offers all the usual items, with a bread and pastries store available at any time of day.

A telephone ordering service and home deliveries are also among the services offered. Deprived of local shops since 2023, residents have enthusiastically welcomed these young entrepreneurs.

A butcher shop across the street

Just opposite, a butcher's shop has also recently started offering its services.

This time, it was Emma's parents who opened their shop. Louisa and Alain Dedini took over the business, which had been closed since 2024 following the death of its manager.

Here again, a wide choice allows the inhabitants of the village to avoid the descent towards the neighboring "big" town.

Parking reserved for customers

Prior to the real estate program, the municipality had acquired part of the land in order to create a parking space reserved for customers of the various shops and services.

The final project is underway, and calls for tenders are about to be launched. The town hall hopes to propose a highly planted space with particular attention to illegal parking. Completion is scheduled for spring 2026.

Finally, two nurses, a physiotherapist and a midwife will also join this new real estate program.
