Alise-Sainte-Reine. Great turnout at the Muséo Parc Alésia for the summer blood drive

In France, 10,000 blood donations are needed every day, including 600 in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. While the number of blood bags collected is generally lower during the months of July and August, regular mobilization remains essential. Thus, blood drives are organized during the summer in cultural venues. For several years, the MuséoParc Alésia has contributed to this commitment by hosting an exceptional blood drive, carried out with the support of volunteers from several local blood donation associations.
Synonymous with free time, the holiday period is a good time to donate blood. Ruben, 18, a resident of Montélimar, and Aurore, 24, from Belfort, met during the post-donation snack. They discovered this call for donations while visiting the museum at reception. Seizing this opportunity, they each made their first blood donation. According to the blood collection team, "with 107 donors presented and 94 blood samples taken, including 16 first donations, the results of this collection are particularly satisfactory."
On the website dondesang.efs.sante.fr, it is now possible to schedule or reschedule a blood or plasma donation.
