Health: Jean-Marc Coassin, new director of the Esquirol-Saint-Hilaire clinic

The former head of the Villeneuve-sur-Lot and Bergerac clinics succeeds Lionel Combes
Jean-Marc Coassin will succeed Lionel Combes at the head of the Esquirol-Saint-Hilaire clinic (he had been in office since 2017), a healthcare facility of the Elsan group in Agen (205 beds, more than a hundred practitioners, 535 employees). The man is not unknown in the department. Jean-Marc Coassin has long presided over the destiny of the Villeneuve clinic, first that of Parc in 2001, then of the Derieux clinic before joining the Pôle de Santé du Villeneuvois (inaugurated in 2014) where he became deputy director at the time of the creation of the health cooperation group with the Saint-Cyr hospital.
Holder of a Master's degree in Public Law and a DESS in Business Management from the University of Law and the IAE of Bordeaux, Jean-Marc Coassin joined the Elsan group in 2009 through the acquisition of the Villeneuve clinic. Then on February 1, 2022, he left Villeneuve and became director of the Pasteur clinic in Bergerac in Dordogne. In Agen, Jean-Marc Coassin takes the helm of a cutting-edge establishment in the department. Currently in the process of tiling with Lionel Combes, who will take on regional responsibilities at Elsan, he will have to deal with the medical desertification and the complex issue of the emergency rooms closed this weekend again due to lack of staff.
