Discover the program for the "Temps-danse Extérieur" festival in Nice

Create surprises, attract attention, and awaken emotions in places where you least expect it. Focus on inclusion and high standards. This is the ambition of the 4th edition of the Temps-danse Extérieur festival.
Coming from France and Italy, the 15 guest dance companies will take over the Coulée Verte and the 109, Pôle des cultures contemporaines, for 4 days and 3 evenings in the open air.
In previous editions, up to 6,000 spectators have joined this human and urban artistic adventure, which promotes the weaving of social and intergenerational bonds.
The program includes: an opening evening, Thursday, May 22 at 7:30 p.m. at 109, in connection with the Biennale des arts et de l'océan, (under the co-curatorship of Jean-Jacques Aillagon, former Minister of Culture and Communication, and Hélène Guenin, director of MAMAC) a meeting and a master class for professionals on May 22 and 24 at 10 a.m. at 109.
More than fifteen performances, introductory dance workshops for families, a concert and a DJ set evening, as well as dance areas open to all.
Rodeo on the water mirrorOn the green belt, meet us on Friday, May 23 at 2 p.m. at the water mirror, to discover sequences such as Rodéo by the Grenade /Josette Baïz Company, a sparkling and dynamic piece about urban cultures.
At 7:30 p.m., the Emerging Companies evening (L'inclinée, Andréa Baldassari, DB Motion) will be held, sponsored by Jean Gaudin at Square Leclerc. This evening will feature N'arrête pas de rêver by the DB Motion Company: music, poetry, and hip-hop.
In a plexiglass boxOn Saturday, May 24, starting at 3:30 p.m., activities await young audiences at the Kindergarten. Starting with "Une jungle" by the Chao.S Company in partnership with Karwan - RIR network, on the following theme: two people shaken by a destiny imposed upon them.
Or Bleu ville by the ACT Company: a strolling trio for a dancer, a musician, and a blue fabric. And finally Passages by the AR Company: dance and contortion in a 3-meter-high plexiglass box!
"Not for Kids" EveningAt 7:30 p.m., in the inner courtyard of 109, the "It's Not for Kids" evening kicks off with avant-garde performances (Grand Bal, Terrain vague, Ex Nihilo) and a concert by Dull Boy: trip-hop and post-punk music, embracing digital and analog sounds. Perfect for dancing in the space open to all!
Back on Sunday at 109 from 10 a.m. with a family dance workshop and a clown with Les Steppettes, as part of "Family Day."
In the afternoon, Chocapov will perform an absurd satire by the clown duo Les Steppettes, and finally, the Horsewomen of Montreuil will be performed by the Cie Les Goulus, a burlesque and interactive performance.
