National bronze at the Brignoles judo club

The Brignoles judo club, ASD, had the pleasure of seeing Léane Sciandra win the bronze medal at the French FSGT (Fédération Sportive Gymnique du Travail) championships which took place in Nice.
A third place in the Poussines category, under forty kilos, for the twelve-year-old girl who has only been practicing the Japanese martial art for two years! "I felt good, but a little stressed. I was going to participate, but I still hoped to win a medal," Léane says shyly. She continues: "I'm happy for myself, but also to make my family, Ambre, and my entire club proud."
A pride shared, therefore, by Ambre Marchesini, her coach at the Brignoles club, who is full of praise for her young protégé: "She's really hard at training, she's very serious and is progressing very quickly." Before returning to the competition: "There were a lot of people, it was long and she was the only Brignoles survivor from the qualifications (many others were unable to take part due to the winter viruses, Editor's note) , but she knew how to manage and bring home this great medal."
Then, the story between Ambre and Léane is a beautiful complicity of lineage since their fathers, respectively Bernard and Jean, practiced judo together at the ASD. The former was already the latter's coach! The girls have taken over and promise a bright future for the club.
