Ischia, tender announced for new burial niches at the cemetery

The Municipality of Ischia has finally announced the tender for the work in the cemetery for the construction of 156 new burial niches, the extraordinary maintenance of the roofs of the cemetery shrines and the adaptation of the electrical system.
The process had started in 2021 with the approval of the technical-economic feasibility project, but for the construction it was necessary to wait for the definition of the concessions for the use of the new burial niches, the proceeds of which will finance the intervention.
Having established the rate of 4,400 euros per burial niche, the available sum was calculated at 686,400, which is the total amount of the executive project drawn up by the architect Michele Grosso (also director of the works) and approved last June by the Council, after the adjustment to the new price list of Public Works of the Campania Region. The total amount of the works amounts to 459,654.44 euros, of which 435,676.20 is subject to reduction.
In the meantime, the head of Service 7, Eng. Francesco Iacono, responsible for the cemetery, has been appointed RUP, replacing the previous Eng. Luigi de Angelis.
Now Eng. Iacono has announced the tender through a negotiated procedure without a call for tenders, after consulting at least five economic operators with an expression of interest on the TuttoGare platform with the criterion of the most economically advantageous offer.
